- Father: Théodoric I King of the Visigoths
- Mother: Amalaberge D`OSTROGOTHIE
- Birth: ABT 420, Toulouse, Kingdom of the Visigoths, Gaul, Roman Empire
- Also known as: Thorismod or Thorismud
- Title Of Nobility: King of the Visigoths, BET 451 AND 453, Kingdom of the Visigoths, Roman Empire
- LifeSketch: Thorismund (also Thorismod or Thorismud, as manuscripts of our chief source confusingly attest) (c. 420–453), became king of the Visigoths after his father Theodoric was killed in the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains (also called Battle of Châlons) in 451 CE. He was murdered in 453 and was succeeded by his brother Theodoric II. Thorismund appears to have played a pivotal role in the Battle of Châlons as he led a contingent of the Visigoth forces in capturing an important summit at the very early stages of the conflict. The summit seems to have extended to the whole of the left flank of the Ostrogoth and Hun forces. Thorismund descended from the hills during the late stages of the conflict, when the Huns had prevailed over the Alans, and the Ostrogoths were pushing the disorganized Visigoths after the death of their king Theodoric. Thorismund led his force of Visigoths in a decisive charge which, according to Edward Gibbon, flanked both the Ostrogoths and subsequently the Huns and snatched the victory from his enemies. -- Wikiwand: Thorismund

- Father: Titus Flavius Sabinus CONSUL SUFFECTUS
- Mother: Vespasia POLLA
- Birth: 8
- Christening: 8, Italy, Roman Empire
- Occupation: Sénateur romain
- LifeSketch: From Wikipedia - Titus Flavius T. f. T. n. Sabinus (d. December 20, AD 69) was a Roman politician and soldier. A native of Reate, he was the elder son of Titus Flavius Sabinus and Vespasia Polla, and brother of the Emperor Vespasian. Career Sabinus is first mentioned in the reign of Claudius, in AD 45, when he served as a legate under Aulus Plautius in Britain, along with his brother, Vespasian.[1] He afterwards governed Moesia for seven years. Sabinus was consul suffectus with Gnaeus Hosidius Geta in AD 47,[i][2] and was praefectus urbi for the last eleven years of Nero's reign. Upon the ascension of Galba in the year 68, he was replaced as urban prefect by Aulus Ducenius Geminus.[3] However, with the death of Galba, and ascension of Otho in January of 69, Sabinus was reinstated.[4] Sabinus may have been part of the Pisonian conspiracy against Nero, but if so he was never arrested.[5] Sabinus was an important supporter of his brother; when Vespasian found himself in financial difficulties while governor of Africa, Sabinus lent him the money to continue, and while Vespasian was governor of Judaea Sabinus was a vital source of information on events in Rome. After the death of Otho, Sabinus directed the urban cohorts to swear allegiance to Vitellius, evidently an attempt to preclude further bloodshed. At the same time, the consul Titus Flavius Sabinus, probably Sabinus' nephew, directed his troops in northern Italy to submit to the generals of Vitellius. Sabinus continued to retain the dignity of praefectus urbi under Vitellius.[6][7] Soon afterward, the legions in the East declared for Vespasian, who then advanced toward Rome, supported by Marcus Antonius Primus. After Vitellius' troops were defeated, the emperor, despairing of success, offered to surrender the empire into the hands of Sabinus, until his brother arrived. However, Vitellius' German soldiers refused this arrangement, and Sabinus was besieged in the Capitol, together with his family members, one of whom was his nephew Domitian. The capitol was burnt by Vitellius' forces, and in the confusion Sabinus' family made their escape, but Sabinus himself was captured and dragged before the emperor, who attempted in vain to save him from the fury of the soldiers. Sabinus was brutally murdered, and his remains thrown to a place where the corpses of malefactors were taken. When the generals of Vespasian obtained possession of the city, Sabinus was interred with the honour of a censor's funeral.[8][9][10][11][12] Family Sabinus' wife is not clearly identified in any ancient sources. Some scholars of early Christianity have asserted that she was Plautia or Plautilla, the daughter of Aulus Plautius and Pomponia Graecina, possibly an early Christian convert, and that the Plautilla who traditionally lent her veil to Saint Paul was Sabinus' daughter.[13] An alternative identification of Sabinus' wife has been proposed by Christian Settipani, who suggests that she was a sister of Marcus Arrecinus Clemens.[14] An inscription attests to a daughter for Sabinus: Flavia Sabina, who was the wife of Lucius Caesennius Paetus consul in 61.[15] Gavin Townend has identified two sons for Sabinus: Titus Flavius Sabinus and Gnaeus Arulenus Caelius Sabinus, both suffect consuls in the year 69,[16] a thesis that has come to be accepted by other scholars.[17] Character Tacitus describes Sabinus as being fair-minded and honest, though prone to be overly gregarious. His failure to hold the well-fortified capitol during the final days of the civil war is attributed to his moderation, lack of enterprise and reluctance to take Roman lives.[18] Footnotes Older authorities, such as the Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology and Attilio Degrassi, state that he held the fasces in 52. However, Giuseppe Camodeca has shown in his studies of wax tablets conserved at the Ufficio Scavi di Pompei that Sabinus was actually consul for July and August of AD 47.

November 110 BC, Atticus descended from a family of equestrian rank and was the son of Titus Pomponius and Caecilia. He had a sister named Pomponia. Growing up, he studied and developed close friendships with Cicero, Lucius Manlius Torquatus, and Gaius Marius the Younger. He is said to have been an excellent student, and in 85 BC, Atticus moved to Athens to further his education, particularly in philosophy. His love of Athens inspired his self-appointed nickname "Atticus", or "Man of Attica", which is mentioned in the fifth book of Cicero's De Finibus (section 4).[2] During his visit to Athens, Julius Caesar was Atticus's guest.

- LifeSketch: Þjálfi e Röskva Origem: Wikipédia, a enciclopédia livre. - Birth: 962, Diocese of Ossory, Leinster, Ireland
- Also known as: Woman from Osraighe
- Also known as: Mrs Malcolm MacKenneth
- Also known as: Mrs Malcolm MacKenneth
- LifeSketch: The name of Malcolm II's wife is not known with certainty only that she was 'from Ossory'. Ossory was an ancient kingdom in Ireland. She married Malcolm (Máel Coluim mac Cináeda) about 983 or before; before he became king of Alba. Together they had no sons but 3 known daughters: - Bethóc b.c. 984, married Crinan the Thane, Mormaer of Atholl, was mother of Duncan I - Donada b.c. 986, married Finlay, Earl of Moray, was mother of MacBeth - Olith b.c.988, married Sigurd, Earl of Orkney, was mother of Thorfinn the Mighty. Because her exact identity is not known, her date of birth and death are not known. Some claim her name was Aelfgifu or that she was the daughter of Sigurd, however, this has never been proven with certainty. After her husband's death, he was succeeded by her grandson Duncan, the son of her oldest daughter Bethoc. Duncan eventually was killed in battle with her other grandson MacBeth, who was supported by her 3rd grandson Thorfinn.
- HER NAME IS NOT KNOWN: No sources identify her other than an "Irishwoman from Ossory"
- Death: 988

- Father: Eberhard Markgraf von Friaul
- Mother: Gisela Markgräfin von Friaul
- Birth: 841, Friaul, Lombardei
- LifeSketch: Unruoch seems to have been born before 840, Poetae Lat. 3, 202 (N. 38). In his father's will he received all possessions in Italy and Swabia except Balingen. Otherwise Andr. Bergam. Pp. 3,235 and 237. He was probably dead in 875, because at that time his younger brother BERENGAR appears at the head of the Italian greats. It is not clear whether Unruoch had offspring. Unruoch followed his father in 866, inherited the Swabian property, supported Emperor LUDWIG II against Benevento and defeated the Saracens at Capua.

- Mother: Spondana INGEN AINGTECH Princess Of Picts
- Birth: 697, Dunadd, Argyll, Scotland, United Kingdom
- LifeSketch: The Kingdom of the Picts Pictish Stone Known as 'Picti' by the Romans, meaning 'Painted Ones' in Latin, these northern tribes constituted the largest kingdom in Dark Age Scotland. They repelled the conquests of both Romans and Angles, creating a true north-south divide on the British Isles, only to disappear from history by the end of the first millennium - swallowed whole by the history of another group, the Gaels. Together they created the Kingdom of Alba. The Picts took part in one of the most decisive battles in Scottish history - the Battle of Dun Nechtain (Dunnichen). If the Picts had lost, Scotland might never have existed. For the Angles of Northumbria it was simply a disaster - ending their domination of Scotland.

- Father: Theodo AGILOLFINGES Ier oder III
- Mother: Gleisnot DE FRIULI Herzogin von Baiern
- Birth: 625, Bavaria, Germany
- Also known as: Ota, Uta, Ita
- LifeSketch: married with Grimoald, auch: Grimuald, Grimwald, (* um 600; † 671) war von 647 bis 662 Herzog von Benevent und in den Jahren 662 bis 671 König der Langobarden. - When Uta, the duke's daughter, was seduced by the son of a judge, Emmeram voluntarily took the blame on himself and was cruelly tortured because of this alleged guilt by Uta's brother, Lantpert, in Kleinhelfendorf when he was on a trip to Rome have given up. ---- She lived at the Bavarian ducal court of the Agilolfinger in Regensburg, where Bishop Emmeram of Regensburg also worked at that time. When the unmarried Uta was impregnated by a ducal official, she confided in Emmeram. He offered to take over paternity for the time being to protect Uta and the officials from Duke Theodo I, Uta's father. Saint Emmeram then went on a pilgrimage to Rome, but Lantpert, Uta's brother, caught up with the bishop and had him tortured and murdered. Uta was captured by her father and exiled to Italy, where she probably married the Longobard Duke Grimoald, with whom she had three children [1]: the son Romuald I [1], the daughter Gisa [2] († around 672 on Sicily [3]) and a daughter unknown by name, who married Transamund I of Spoleto in 663 ---- Sie lebte am bairischen Herzogshof der Agilolfinger in Regensburg, an dem zu dieser Zeit auch Bischof Emmeram von Regensburg wirkte.

- Residence: BET 451 AND 471, Pannonia, Roman Empire
- Title Of Nobility: King of the Ostrogoths, BET 447 AND 465, Pannonia, Roman Empire
- LifeSketch: Foundation for Medieval Genealogy VALAMIR (-killed in battle [468/69]). Iordanes names "Thiudemer et Valamir et Vidimir" as the sons of Vandilarius[54]. He and his brothers followed Attila the Hun into Gaul in 451[55]. Valamir commanded the Ostrogoth contingent in Attila's army which was defeated at the battle of the Catalaunian fields[56]. He was considered king of all Ostrogoths in Pannonia. Iordanes records that "Valamer…ex consobrino eius genitus Vandalario" succeeded as king after "Thorismundo" was killed fighting the Gepids in the second year of his reign[57]. He shared the land with his two brothers, retaining for himself the eastern part of the territory covering lower Slavonia. In 456, he defeated an attack by the Huns, who are said to have retreated to the River Dnieper[58]. He defeated another Hun attack on Bassianae, near Belgrade, in 467/68, but was killed in battle during a similar attack the following year. ******************* Wikipedia Valamir (c. 420 – 469) was an Ostrogothic king in the ancient country of Pannonia from AD 447 until his death. During his reign, he fought alongside the Huns against the Roman Empire and then, after Attila the Hun's death, fought against the Huns to consolidate his independent control over a large group of Goths.[1] Valamir was the son of Vandalarius and cousin to king Thorismud. An important and trusted vassal of Attila the Hun, Valamir participated in Attila's raids of the provinces of the Danube (447), and commanded an Ostrogothic contingent of Attila's force at the Battle of Chalons. After Attila's death (453), Valamir by force and diplomacy became the leader of the large grouping of Goths who were settled by Marcian in Pannonia.[1] In the subsequent fight for independence from the Huns from 456 to 457, he defeated the sons of Attila. In 459 Valamir's Ostrogoths did not receive their accustomed annual tribute from the Romans and felt that Theoderic Strabo was getting more honour than they were. Valamir and his brothers therefore attacked Illyricum from 459 to 462, when the emperor Leo I agreed to pay the Goths 300 pounds of gold yearly. During a Scirian raid, just before the Battle of Bolia,[2] Valamir was thrown from his horse and killed.[3] Jordanes in his Getica may have confused his name (Βαλαμέρ in the Greek alphabet), giving "Balamber" a fictitious existence as a king of the Huns about 375.[1]
- Vassal of Attila the Hun: The Goths fought as vassals of Attila the Hun, however after Attila's death Valamir fought against the Huns and attempted to assert Gothic control over the Pannonia Basin
- The Great Migration: In 375 AD, the nomadic Huns began invading Scythia from the eastern steppes, instigating the Great Age of Migrations. In 380, the Huns penetrated into Pannonia (present-day Hungary), and remained an important factor in the region well into the 5th century. Around the same time (379-395), the Roman Empire allowed the groups of Goths, Alans, Huns, Marcomanni and Quadi to settle Pannonia, which still was a Roman territory. The Visigoths, Alans, Vandals and most of the Quadi and Marcomanni, however, left this territory around 400, and moved on to western and southern Europe. The Huns, taking advantage of the departure of the Goths, Quadi, et al., created a significant empire in 423 based in Hungary. In 453 they reached the height of their expansion under the well-known conqueror, Attila the Hun. The empire collapsed in 455, when the Huns were defeated by the neighbouring Germanic tribes (such as the Quadi, Gepidi and Scirii).
