- LifeSketch: Cath Gabhra (English: The Battle of Gabhair or Gowra) is a narrative of the Fenian Cycle of Irish mythology. It tells of the destruction of the fianna and the deaths of most of its warriors in a battle against the forces of High King Cairbre Lifechair. It is notable for depicting the fianna, the heroes of the cycle, in a negative light. Cath Gabhra exists in many versions including poems about Cairbre Lifechair in the Book of Leinster and in the long narrative Acallam na Senórach. Cairbre's daughter Sgiam Sholais is betrothed to Maolsheachlainn, prince of the Déisi, whose father Oengus has been killed by Cairbre's sons Fíacha Sroiptine and Eochaid Doimlen. However, the fianna and Fionn mac Cumhaill demand a large tribute for the marriage, and Cairbre decides their power has corrupted them. He raises a vast army from Ulster, Leinster, and Connacht, which is joined by the faction of the fianna loyal to Fionn's enemy Goll mac Morna. Fionn and the fianna are aided by the men of Munster and the Déisi. Cairbre starts the final battle by killing Fionn's servant Ferdia, and the armies meet at Gabhair for the final confrontation. The fianna's greatest warrior, Fionn's grandson Oscar (the son of Oisín), slays Cairbre, but dies of his wounds, thereby sealing the fianna's fate. In some versions, Fionn himself is slain by Aichlech while he weeps over the death of his grandson. Cairbre's forces ultimately triumph, and the only survivors of the fianna are Oisín and Caílte mac Rónáin, who live long enough to recount their tale to Saint Patrick two centuries later, according to Acallam na Senórach. Gabhra is generally considered identical to the modern Garristown, County Dublin, but other texts place it in Glenn Gabhra, situated between the hills of Tara and Skryne, County Meath. Some chronicles give the date of battle as 284.

- Birth: 226, Ireland
- LifeSketch: Gráinne (Irish pronunciation: [ˈɡɾˠɔːn̪ʲə]) is the daughter of Cormac mac Airt in the Fenian Cycle of Irish mythology. She is one of the central figures in the Middle Irish text Finn and Gráinne and, most famously, in the 17th-century tale The Pursuit of Diarmuid and Gráinne, which tells of her betrothal to Fionn mac Cumhaill, leader of the Fianna, and her subsequent elopement with Fionn's warrior Diarmuid Ua Duibhne. In The Pursuit of Diarmuid and Gráinne, Gráinne was promised in marriage to Fionn but, repulsed by his age, she forms a relationship with Diarmuid at their betrothal party. At first he refuses out of loyalty to Fionn but she places a geis upon him to run away with her. Their long flight from Fionn is aided by Diarmuid's foster-father Aengus Óg. Eventually, Fionn pardons Diarmuid after Aengus intercedes on their behalf; the pair settle in Kerry and produce five children. Years later Diarmuid is wounded by a boar while hunting with Fionn, who stalls in healing him until it is too late; texts vary on Gráinne's subsequent actions. In some versions, she mourns her husband until she dies herself; in others, she swears her sons to avenge their father's death on Fionn. In still others, she forgives Fionn or even marries him. According to historian Peter Berresford Ellis, "[Fionn Mac Cumhail] had many loves during his career but none is better known than his unrequited love for Gráinne. He was elderly when [the High King] Cormac Mac Art gave his daughter Gráinne to him in marriage. But before the ceremony, Gráinne eloped with one of Fionn’s warriors, Diarmuid Ua Duibhne. ‘The Pursuit of Diarmuid and Gráinne’ is one of the classic love tales and a major epic of the Fenian Cycle." Ellis goes on to note: "Gráinne’s character is always drawn with consistency in the myths. She is a shallow person, wilful, ruthless and passionate, and what in modern terms would be described as a neurotic." The story of Gráinne and Diarmuid is one of a number of instances in Irish mythology of a love triangle between a young man, a young woman and an aging suitor, the other most famous instance being between Naoise, Deirdre and Conchobar mac Nessa in the Ulster Cycle. The same theme also shows up in other cultures, notably in the Arthurian legend. The Pursuit of Diarmuid and Gráinne shares a number of similarities with the story of Tristan and Iseult, and to a certain extent the love affair of Lancelot and Guinevere.

- LifeSketch: Mongfind (or Mongfhionn in modern Irish)—meaning "fair hair" or "white hair"—was the wife, of apparent Munster origins, of the legendary Irish High King Eochaid Mugmedón and mother of his eldest three sons, Brión, Ailill and Fiachrae, ancestors of the historical Connachta, through whom she is an ancestor of many Irish and European nobility today. She was the sister of Crimthann mac Fidaig, King of Munster and the next High King of Ireland, whom she is said to have killed with poison in the attempt to have the kingdom for her sons.[1][2] She drank the same to convince him, and died soon after at Samhain, becoming a goddess of sorcery.[2][3] She was the first wife of Eochaid; he took a second wife, Cairenn, who gave birth to Niall of the Nine Hostages. Several stories depict Mongfind as an adversary of her stepson. According to Cormac's Glossary,[4] she was a goddess the pagan Irish worshipped on Samhain. This was also called the Féile Moingfhinne i.e. "Festival of Mongfind".[2][3] Later legend, as documented in Patrick Weston Joyce's Social History of Ancient Ireland, makes her a bean sidhe. A prominent hill called Cnoc Samhna "Hill of Samhain"[5] also known as Ard na Ríoghraidhe "Height of the Kingfolk" south of Bruree, County Limerick is associated with a tale connected to Mongfind. "Anocht Oíche Shamhna Moingfhinne banda" is children's rhyme from County Waterford which translates as "Tonight is the eve of Samhain of Mongfhionn the goddess". Variant spellings of her name include Mongfinn, Mongfionn, Mongfhind, Mongfhinn, Mongfhionn, Mongfinne, Mongfhinne, Mong Find, Mong Finn, Mong Fionn, Mong Fhionn, Mungfionn, Mung Finn, Mung Fionn. Mongfind and her brother, children of Fidach and grandchildren of Dáire Cerbba in most sources, are sometimes said to belong to an early or peripheral branch of the Eóganachta. However, this is unlikely, as the evidence suggests that, if historical, they belong to a distinct people associated with other kingdoms, possibly the Dáirine, who may be referred to as their people in an obscure poem in Old Irish by Flann mac Lonáin (d. 896).[6] In the Banshenchus she is called "Mongfind of the Érnai" (Érainn), and given a later son Sidach following the Connachta.[7] Dáire Cerbba is stated in Rawlinson B 502 to have been born in Mag Breg (Brega), Mide,[8] much of which probably remained Érainn territory at the time of his supposed floruit. It is difficult to distinguish the Dáirine from the Érainn in the surviving corpus. Mister y of the "MUNSTERS" Monfind's History The Rock of Cashel, North Tipperary, historical seat of the Kings of Munster In the early centuries AD, Munster was the domain of the Iverni and the legendary Clanna Dedad led by Cú Roí and to whom the celebrated Conaire Mór also belonged. During the Early Middle Ages, most of the area was part of the Kingdom of Munster, ruled by the Eóganachta dynasty. Prior to this date, the area was ruled by the Dáirine and Corcu Loígde overlords from the early 7th century onwards, perhaps beginning with the notable career of Faílbe Flann mac Áedo Duib. Later rulers from the Eóganachta who would dominate a grheater part of Ireland were Cathal mac Finguine and Feidlimid mac Cremthanin. Notable regional kingdoms and lordships of Early Medieval Munster were Iarmuman (West Munster), Osraige (Ossory), Uí Liatháin, Uí Fidgenti, Éile, Múscraige, Ciarraige Luachra, Corcu Duibne, Corcu Baiscinn, and Déisi Muman. By the 9th century the Gaels had been joined by Norse Vikings who founded towns such as Cork, Waterford and Limerick, for the most part incorporated into a maritime empire by the Dynasty of Ivar, who periodically would threaten Munster with conquest in the next century. Around this period Ossory broke away from Munster. The 10th century saw the rise of the Dalcassians (probably descendants of the ancient Mairtine, a sept of the Iverni/Érainn), who had earlier annexed Thomond, north of the Shannon to Munster. Their leaders were the ancestors of the O'Brien dynasty and spawned Brian Bóruma, perhaps the most noted High King of Ireland, and several of whose descendants were also High Kings. By 1118 Munster had fractured into the Kingdom of Thomond under the O'Briens, the Kingdom of Desmond under the MacCarthy dynasty (Eóganachta), and the short-lived Kingdom of Ormond under the O'Kennedys (another Dalcassian sept). The three crowns of the Munster flag represent these three late kingdoms. This flag can easily be confused with the flag of Dublin which has three castles in a similar pattern on a blue background; it also resembles the lesser coat-of-arms of Sweden, the Three Crowns. (poisoned herself and her brother Crimhthann)

- Also known as: Bethóc (Beatrix) Princess of Scotland
- LifeSketch: Bethóc was the oldest daughter of Malcolm II of Scotland (also known as Máel Coluim mac Cináeda, King of Scots) born about 984 at Atholl, Scotland. The name of her mother was not recorded, she was said to have been an Irishwoman from Ossory. Bethoc had no living brothers at the time of her father's death in 1034 and therefor her oldest son Duncan I (Donnchad mac Crinain) succeeded to the throne. Bethoc was known as the Lady of Atholl, and Bethóc ingen Maíl Coluim meic Cináeda. Between 1000 and 1008 she married Crinan the Thane, Mormaer of Atholl, Abthane of Dule, Steward of the Western Isles, and Lay Abbot of Dunkeld, the son of Duncan, Mormaer of Atholl. Together they were the founders of the Royal House of Dunkeld, they are believed to have had 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters: - Duncan I (Donnchad mac Crinain) - Maldred, married Edith, daughter of Uhtred, Earl of Northumbria, granddaughter of Æthelred II, King of England. - Daughter (name unknown) married and was the mother of Moddan, Earl of Caithness (killed 1040) - Daughter (name unknown) nothing is known about her Bethóc survived her husband and both her sons. Her oldest son King Donnchad (Duncan I) died in 1040. Her husband Crinan and younger son Maldred both died in 1045. Bethóc herself died 15 September 1049 at Dunkeld. Bethoc was also known as Beatrix of Scotland, Bethoc of Alba, Baroness of Atholl and the Heiress of Scone. She was the last of the House of Alpin/House of MacAlpin. She and her husband were the progenitors of the House of Dunkeld.

- Also known as: Donada ingen Maíl Coluim meic Cináeda
- Title Of Nobility: Princess of Scotland
- middle daughter of King Malcolm II: (Date and Place unknown)
- THE MOTHER OF MACBETH: Donada was the mother of Mac Bethad mac Findlaích, better known as Macbeth of Shakespeare fame.
- LifeSketch: Donada ingen Maíl Coluim meic Cináeda was the 'middle' daughter of Malcolm II, King of the Scots. She had an older sister Bethoc who married Crinan, Thane of The Isles, head of the house of Atholl and a younger sister Olith who married Sigurd, Earl of Orkney. The sisters are often confused with each other. Donada married Finlay, Earl of Moray, Thane of Ross and Cromarty. They are believed to be the parents of Macbeth, made infamous by Shakespeare. Macbeth is attributed with the death of King Duncan I, his cousin. Donada is sometimes identified as Doada, Doda and Docha, but is most commonly identified as Donada. Details of her exact birth and death are not known with certainty. "Chronicles of Scotland" identify her as the second daughter of Malcolm II, King of Scotland, therefore, she was born after Bethoc. Bethoc is believed to have been born around 984. There is no information available about Donada's death. She died presumably in Orkney, sometime after the birth of her son Macbeth circa 1005.

- alt.birth: 980
- Alt. Death: 25 NOV 1034
- Affiliation: Royal House of Alpin and married into the Nobel Family Norse Earls of Orkney
- Title Of Nobility: Countess of Orkney, Princess of Scotland
- LifeSketch: Olith ingen Maíl Coluim meic Cináeda, also known as Olith MacMalcolm, Olith macAlpin, Alice and Aleta. Olith was the youngest daughter of Malcolm II, King of the Scots. She had 2 older sisters: Bethoc who married Crinan, Thane of The Isles, head of the house of Atholl and Donada who married Finlay, Earl of Moray, Thane of Ross and Cromarty. Olith was likely born about 988, it is known she was the youngest daughter, the name of her mother is not known. Olith married Sigurd, Earl of Orkney, and was the mother of his youngest son Thorfinn Sigurdsson (1009–c. 1065), also known as Thorfinn the Mighty. Olith and her sisters are often confused with each other. ---------------------------------------------------------- Malcolm demonstrated a rare ability to survive among early Scottish kings by reigning for twenty-nine years. He was a clever and ambitious man. Brehon tradition provided that the successor to Malcolm was to be selected by him from among the descendants of King Aedh, with the consent of Malcolm's ministers and of the church. Ostensibly in an attempt to end the devastating feuds in the north of Scotland, but obviously influenced by the Norman feudal model, Malcolm ignored tradition and determined to retain the succession within his own line. But since Malcolm had no son of his own, he undertook to negotiate a series of dynastic marriages of his three daughters to men who might otherwise be his rivals, while securing the loyalty of the principal chiefs, their relatives. First he married his daughter Bethoc to Crinan, Thane of The Isles, head of the house of Atholl and secular Abbot of Dunkeld; then his youngest daughter, Olith, to Sigurd, Earl of Orkney. His middle daughter, Donada, was married to Finlay, Earl of Moray, Thane of Ross and Cromarty and a descendant of Loarn of Dalriada. This was risky business under the rules of succession of the Gael, but he thereby secured his rear and, taking advantage of the renewal of Viking attacks on England, marched south to fight the English. He defeated the Angles at Carham in 1018 and installed his grandson, Duncan, son of the Abbot of Dunkeld and his choice as Tanist, in Carlisle as King of Cumbria that same year.[9] 1. BETHOC [Beatrix Beatrice Betoch] "Genealogy of King William the Lyon" dated 1175 names "Betoch filii Malcolmi" as parent of "Malcolmi filii Dunecani". The Chronicle of the Scots and Picts dated 1177 names "Cran Abbatis de Dunkelden et Bethok filia Malcolm mac Kynnet" as parents of King Duncan. source Beatrice who married Crynyne Abthane of Dul and Steward of the Isles 2. DONADA [Dovada Duada Doada Donalda] R alph Holinshed's 1577 Chronicle of Scotland names "Doada" as second daughter of Malcolm II King of Scotland and adds that she married "Sinell the thane of Glammis, by whom she had issue one Makbeth". 3. OLITH [Alice Olith Anlite] Orkneyinga Saga records that "Earl Sigurd" married "the daughter of Malcolm King of Scots". Snorre records the marriage of "Sigurd the Thick" and "a daughter of the Scottish king Malcolm". Ulster journal of archaeology, Volume 6 By Ulster Archaeological Society names her as (Alice) wife of Sygurt and daughter of Malcolm II. The American historical magazine, Volume 2 By Publishing Society of New York, Americana Society pg 529 names her Olith or Alice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcolm_II_of_Scotland#Children

- LifeSketch: Olaf Tree Feller (Old Norse: Óláfr trételgja, Swedish: Olof Trätälja, Norwegian: Olav Tretelgja, all meaning Olaf Woodwhittler) was the son of the Swedish king Ingjald illråde, ruler of the House of Yngling in the 7th century according to Ynglingatal, a Skaldic poem detailing the kings of that house. His mother was Gauthild, a princess of West Götaland, whose maternal grandfather was Olof the Sharp-sighted, the king of Nerike. His mother sent him to his foster-father Bove in West Götaland, where he grew up with his foster-brother Saxe who was surnamed Flette. When Olof heard of his father's death, he assembled the men who were willing to follow him and went to his kinsmen in Nerike, because after his father's atrocities, the Swedes had grown hostile towards the Ynglings. When the Swedes learnt that Olof and his kin had sought refuge in Nerike, they were attacked and had to head west through deep and mountainous forests (Kilsbergen) to Lake Vänern and the estuary of Klarälven (where Karlstad is now situated). Here, they settled and cleared land. Soon they had created a whole province called Värmland, where they could make a good living. When the Swedes learnt that Olof was clearing land, they were amused and called him the Tree-feller. Olof married a woman named Solveig who was a daughter of Halfdan Guldtand of Soleyar. Olof and Solveigh had two sons, Ingjald Olofsson and Halfdan Hvitbeinn, who were brought up in Soleyar in the house of his mother's uncle Sölve. Because of king Ivar Vidfamne and his harsh rule many Swedes emigrated to Värmland, and they became so numerous that the province could not sustain them. The land was afflicted by famine of which the Swedes accused the king. It was an old tradition in Sweden of holding the king responsible for the wealth of the land (see Domalde). The Swedes accused Olof of neglecting his sacrifices to the gods and believed that this was the cause of the famine. The Swedish settlers thus rebelled against Olof, surrounded his house on the shores of lake Vänern and burnt him inside it. Thus he was sacrificed to Odin, like his ancestor Domalde. However, Historia Norwegiae says that Olof succeeded his father and ruled as the king of Sweden in peace until his death. "Ejus filius Olavus cognomento tretelgia diu et pacifice functus regno plenus dierum obiit in Swethia. His son, Olav, known as Tretelgje, accomplished a long and peaceful reign, and died in Sweden, replete in years." The lines of Ynglingatal appear to say that he was a Swedish prince (svía jöfri), and that he was burnt inside his hall and disappeared from Gamla Uppsala. "Ok við vág, viðar (telgju) hræ Ólafs hofgyldir svalg, ok glóðfjálgr gervar leysti sonr Fornjóts af Svía jöfri. Sá áttkonr frá Uppsölum Lofða kyns fyrir löngu hvarf. " Along the lower parts of the river Byälven in Värmland, there are three large barrows, which legend attributes to Olof Trätälja. Moreover, there are many hillforts near this river and the northern shore of Lake Vänern testifying to a violent period. Archaeological excavations from one of the hillforts, Villkorsberget, show that it was burnt in a period corresponding to Olof (510–680). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olof_Tr%C3%A4t%C3%A4lja

- LifeSketch: Anund Swedish: Bröt-Anund meaning trail-blazer Anund or Anund the Land Clearer; alternate names Brøt-Anundr (Old East Norse) or Braut-Önundr (Old West Norse) was a semi-legendary Swedish king of the House of Yngling who reigned in the mid-seventh century. The name would have been Proto-Norse *Anuwinduz meaning "winning ancestor". In his Ynglinga saga, Snorri Sturluson relates that Anund succeeded his father King Yngvar who fell in battle with the Estonians. After his father's wars against Danish Vikings and Estonian Vikings, peace reigned over Sweden and there were good harvests. Anund was a popular king who became very rich, not only because of the peace and the good harvests but also because he avenged his father in Estonia. That country was ravaged far and wide and in the autumn Anund returned with great riches. In those days Sweden was dominated by vast and uninhabited forests, so Anund started making roads and clearing land and vast districts were settled by Swedes. Consequently, he was named Bröt-Anund. He made a farm for himself in every district and used to stay as a guest in many homes. One autumn, King Anund was travelling between his halls (see Husbys) and came to a place called Himinheiðr (sky heath) between two mountains. He was surprised by a landslide which killed him. The original text of Ynglingatal is hard to interpret, and it only says that Anund died und Himinfjöllum (under the sky mountains) and that stones were implied. According to Historia Norwegiæ, he was murdered by his brother Sigvard in Himinherthy (which the source says means "the fields of the sky", cœli campus. Such a place name is not known and Swedish archaeologist Birger Nerman (1888–1971) suggests that the original place of death was under the sky mountains, i.e. under the clouds (cf. the etymology of cloud). Consequently, he may have been killed outdoors, by his brother and with a stone. Thorsteins saga Víkingssonar says that Anund was not the son of Ingvar, but Östen. It also relates that he had a brother named Olaf who was the king of Fjordane. All sources say that Anund was the father of Ingjald (Ingjald Illråde). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anund https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Br%C3%B6t-Anund

- Father: Appius Claudius Crassus Sabinus REGILLENSIS
- Birth: ABT 455 BC
- Title Of Nobility: Consular Tribune of the Roman Republic
- LifeSketch: Appius (or Titus) Claudius Crassus was a consular tribune of the Roman Republic in 424 BC. Claudius belonged to the patrician Claudia gens. He was the son of the infamous Appius Claudius Crassus, who had been the leading figure of the group known as the Decemviri from 451 to 449 BC before taking his life after they were overthrown. Following filiations Claudius is the father of Appius Claudius Crassus, consular tribune in 403 BC. Claudius also had a younger brother named Publius Claudius Crassus. In 424 BC Claudius was elected as consular tribune together with Spurius Nautius Rutilus, Lucius Sergius Fidenas and Sextus Julius Iulus. Claudius remained in Rome while his colleagues led armies in the field, thus Claudius held and completed the election of the consuls of the following year. During his year in office he was a fierce opponent of the plebeians and their tribunes. There is some uncertainty in regards to his praenomen, Livy names him Appius and Didorus Siculus has him named Titus.

3 Appius Claudius (consul 349)
- Father: Appius Claudius Crassus INREGILLENSIS
- Birth: 430 BC
- Title Of Nobility: Consular Tribune
- LifeSketch: Appius Claudius Crassus Inregillensis was a consular tribune of the Roman Republic in 403 BC. Claudius belonged to the Claudia gens, a relatively young patrician gens which had, according to tradition, come to Rome with Attius Clausus in 504 BC. Claudius was the forth generation of Appius Claudii to reach the imperium, his father had done so in 424 BC, his grandfather in 451 BC, his great-grandfather in 471 BC and his great-great-grandfather in 495 BC, after changing his name from Attius Clausus to Appius Claudius. It is unclear of Claudius relationship to later Claudii as most seem to trace their descent from a Publius Claudius, which could either be Publius Claudius Crassus, an uncle of Claudius, or an otherwise unknown son of Claudius. Claudius held the imperium in 403 BC as one of six consular tribunes. He shared the office with Manius Aemilius Mamercinus. Marcus Quinctilius Varus, Lucius Valerius Potitus. Lucius Julius Iulus and Marcus Furius Fusus. The college, with the exception of Aemilius and Valerius, were all first time consulars. Livy, when writing of this college, incorrectly includes the two censors Marcus Furius Camillus and Marcus Postumius Albinus Regillensis into the consular college. The year saw the continuation of the war started in 406 against the Veii with all consulars leading armies against the Veii, with the exception of Claudius who remained in Rome. The long years of war and new payments towards the soldiers seems to have strained the economy of Rome and the two censors, Camillus and Postumius imposed new taxes targeting bachelors and orphans. During his tribuneship Claudius succeeded with passing a law which gave the tribunes of the plebs the possibility of vetoing each other. Claudius, in the words of Livy, gives a passionate and well-reasoned speech towards the tribunes, but the speech has striking similarities to other speeches described by Livy and shares many anecdotes and speech-patterns with that of Cicero, whom it is known Livy had read and studied. This episode is most likely an addition by Livy to "spice up" the story and the whole character of Claudius is of some historical uncertainty. In 362 BC, about 40 years after his tribuneship, Claudius was appointed as a dictator when the consul, Lucius Genucius Aventinensis, was defeated and killed by the Hernici. Claudius as dictator he won a costly victory against the Hernici. There is a possibility that he was awarded a triumph for this victory, although this is doubted by Broughton and Degrassi. It is unknown who acted as magister equitum during this dictatorship and it is only kept in the Fasti Capitolini as SCA.U.LA, possibly identifying him as Publius Cornelius Scapula, consul in 328 BC, but this identification is rejected by Broughton and Degrassi. A secondary (equally doubtful) identification is that of Mucius Scaevola, an otherwise unattested individual. Pinsent, in commenting on the dictator and magister equitum of 362 BC, concludes that both are most likely fictitious addition by Livy and should not be considered as historical. There is also a possibility, although small and connected with the individual of the dictatorship, that Claudius should be considered the same individual as the consular of 349 BC. Holding the office as an elderly man little over a 50 years after his tribuneship. An argument in favour of this reading is that Livy described him as elderly and has him dying during this consulship. His imperium was transferred to the praetor, Lucius Pinarius Natta and later by the elections to Titus Manlius Imperiosus Torquatus as dictator. Although It is more probable that this consul of 349 BC is a distant cousin or a grandson to Claudius in according to the reading of the Fasti which has a different filiation compared to that of Claudius. Ogilvie, in his commentary on Livy, agrees with the Fasti but has the consular tribune of 403 BC having the same filiations, making him a nephew, not a son, of the consular of 424 BC. Adding to the confusion during this year is that Diodorus Siculus has Marcus Aemilius and Titus Quinctius as consuls this year, not Claudius or his colleague Lucius Furius Camillus. The classicist Suolahti, in his reading of the Fasti, identifies Claudius as the same individual as the dictator of 362 and of the consular of 349 BC
