- Father: Anlach Goronog mac Cormac of GALLOWAY
- Mother: Marchell VERCH TEWDRIG of Garth Madrun
- Birth: 409, Ireland
- Title Of Nobility: King of Brycheiniog of Garthmadrun
- LifeSketch: According to Celtic hagiography Brychan was born in Ireland, the son of a Prince Anlach, son of Coronac, and his wife, Marchel, heiress of the Welsh kingdom of Garthmadrun (Brycheiniog), which the couple later inherited. Upon his father's death, he returned to Garthmadrun and changed its name to Brycheiniog.[2] Brychan's name may be a Welsh version of the Irish name Broccán and that of his grandfather Coronac may represent Cormac.[3] Brychan's education was entrusted to one Drichan.[4] The Life of St. Cadoc by Lifris (c. 1100) portrays Brychan fighting Arthur, Cai and Bedivere because of King Gwynllyw of Gwynllwg's abduction of his daughter St. Gwladys from his court in Talgarth. Portraiture and veneration He is occasionally described as an undocumented saint[5] but the traditional literature does not call him a saint, referring to him as a patriarch instead, and he has no churches named for him.[6] A 15th-century stained glass window in the parish church at St Neot in Cornwall, supposedly depicts Brychan, seated and crowned, holding in his arms eleven children. This, however, has been described by a standard modern guide as "God with Souls in his lap".[7] Children of Brychan According to Christian tradition, Brychan was married three times – to Prawst ferch Tydwal, Banhadlwedd ferch Banadi, and Gwladys – and had a very large family. These wives are mentioned in several manuscripts, including those by William Worcester, John Leland, and Nicholas Roscarrock. The number of children attributed to him varies from twelve to sixty-three, the number most frequently encountered being twenty-four. There are two main lists however, one of Welsh origin and one of Cornish origin. Most of his children appear to have travelled from Brecon to evangelise Cornwall and North Devon, where they are now venerated, but there is little agreement between the two lists. The number of Brychan's children may have grown over time, as more and more secular people as well as saints wished to claim descent from one of the "Holy Families of Britain". Listed below are children from Welsh, Cornish, Irish, and Breton sources: Sons in Welsh sources The sons listed in the Cognacio Brychan, De Situ Brecheniauc and the genealogies of Jesus College MS 20 are Cynog, Rhain Dremrudd, Clydwyn, Arthen, Papai, Dingad, Berwyn and Rhydog. Also listed, but not in all three, are Cynon, Pasgen, Cylflifer, Marthaerun and Rhun. Other Welsh sources claim the following additional sons: Caian, Cynbryd, Cynfran, Cynin, Dogfan, Dyfnan, Dyfrig, Hychan, Llecheu, Neffei, Rhawin, Llofan, Llonio, Heilin, Afallach and Gwynnws. Daughters in Welsh sources The De Situ Brecheniauc lists: Eleri, Hunydd, Gwladys, Ceingar, Tudglid, Nyfain, Gwawr, Marchell, Lluan, Gwrygon Goddeu, Arianwen, Bethan, Ceinwen (Keyne), Cerddych, Clydai, Cynheiddon (identified with Saint Endelienta), Dwynwen, Eiliwedd, Goleudydd, Gwen, Lludd, Tudful, Tudwystl and Tybie. Other Welsh sources claim the following additional daughters: Beiol, Tydieu, Eufail, Hawystl, Edwen, Gwenrhiw, Tudwen, Callwen, Gwenfyl, Gwennan and Mwynwen. Descendants in Cornish sources Listed in the Life of Saint Nectan are, by his wife, Gwladys: Adwen, Canauc (Cynog), Cleder (Clether), Dilic (Illick), Endelient (Endelienta), Helie, Johannes (Sion), Iona, Juliana (Ilud), Kenhender (Cynidr), Keri (Curig), Mabon (Mabyn), Menfre (Menefrewy), Merewenne (Marwenna), Morewenna (Morwenna), Nectanus (Nectan), Tamalanc, Tedda (Tetha), Wencu (Gwencuff, Gwengustle, name of Saint Nennocha), Wenheden (Enoder), Wenna (Gwen), Wensent, Wynup (Gwenabwy) and Yse (Issey). According to Robert Hunt, of the holy children that settled in Cornwall, we learn that the following gave their names to Cornish churches Johannes at St Ive Endelient at St Endellion Menfre at St Minver Tethe at St Teath Mabon at St Mabyn Merewenne at Marhamchurch Wenna at St Wenn Keyne at St Keyne Yse at St Issey Morwenna at Morwenstow Cleder at St Clether Keri at Egloskerry Helie at Egloshayle Adwen at Advent Lanent at Lelant Irish sources The Book of Leinster lists the following sons by Brychan's wife, Dína daughter of the King of the Saxons: Mo-Goróc, Mo-Chonóc (Cynog), Diraid, Dubán (Dyfnan), Cairinne (Caian), Cairpre, Iast, Ellóc (Dilic), Paan, Cáemán and Mo-Beóc, Breton sources Breton tradition says that Brychan married Menedoc daughter of Constantine, King of the Scots. Together they were the parents of Saint Nennocha.

- Father: Anthemius of ROME
- Mother: Aelia Marcia Euphemia of The Eastern Roman Empire
- Birth: 467, Roma, Roman Empire
- LifeSketch: Wikipedia - Flavius Procopius Anthemius (fl. 469–515 AD) was a politician of the Eastern Roman Empire, son of Western Roman Emperor Anthemius. Biography Procopius was the son of Anthemius and of Marcia Euphemia, daughter of the Eastern Roman Emperor. His brothers were Anthemiolus, Marcian and Romulus; he also had a sister, Alypia. He lived at Constantinople, at Eastern Emperor Leo I's court, while his father later ruled the Western Roman Empire (467-472), unsuccessfully trying to restore Roman power in the Western provinces beyond Italy and Gaul. During this time, his brother Anthemiolus died while leading an attack against the Visigoths (in 471) and his sister Alypia married Ricimer, the powerful magister militum of barbarian origin. In 474, Leo died. He had left no sons and two daughters, the elder Ariadne, born before Leo was raised to the throne and married to the Isaurian general Zeno, and the younger Leontia, born when Leo was already emperor and married to Procopius' brother, Marcian. The people of Constantinople despised the Isaurians, whom they considered barbarians; furthermore, Leontia's status as "porphyrogenita" gave her some sort of precedence to the throne, according to the faction that opposed Zeno. For this reason Marcian tried to overthrow Zeno. With the help of Procopius and Romulus, he gathered in Constantinople troops composed of both citizens and foreigners in the house of a Caesarius, south of the Forum of Theodosius, and from there they marched at the same time on the imperial palace and on the house of Illus, an Isaurian general who supported Zeno. The emperor almost fell into the hands of the rebels, who, during the day, overwhelmed the imperial troops, who were also attacked by citizens from the roofs of their houses. During the night, however, Illus succeeded in moving an Isaurian unit quartered in nearby Chalcedonia into Constantinople and in corrupting Marcian's soldiers, who allowed Zeno to flee. On the following morning Marcian, understanding that his situation was desperate and that reinforcements under the Gothic general Theodoric Strabo would not arrive in time, took refuge in the church of the Holy Apostles, but was then arrested with his brothers. They were sent to Caesarea in Cappadocia. With the help of some monks, they tried to escape, but Marcian failed, while Procopius fled to Theodoric Strabo in Thrace,[1][2]--where the latter refused to hand him to Zeno[3]--and then to Rome.[1] Later Procopius returned to Constantinople, during the reign of Anastasius I (491-518). Empress Ariadne asked Anastasius, whom she had married after Zeno's death, to appoint Procopius praetorian prefect; Anastasius refused, saying that the office required more learning than Procopius had.[4] Nonetheless, he was appointed consul for 515.[5] Procopius might be the Anthemius who was married to Herais and father of a Zeno betrothed to a nephew of Emperor Zeno; this Anthemius was probably a patricius.[6]

- fallecimiento: ABT 87, roma antigua roma

- LifeSketch: Marcus Antonius was a Roman politician of the Antonius family and one of the most distinguished Roman orators of his time. He was also the grandfather of the famous general and triumvir, Mark Antony. He started his cursus honorum as quaestor in 113 BC and in 102 BC he was elected praetor with proconsular powers for the province of Cilicia. During his term, he fought the pirates with such success that the Senate voted a naval triumph in his honor. He was then elected consul in 99 BC, together with Aulus Postumius Albinus, and in 97 BC, he was elected censor. He held a command in the Social War in 90 BC. During the civil war between Gaius Marius and Lucius Cornelius Sulla, Antonius supported the latter. This cost him his life; Gaius Marius and Lucius Cornelius Cinna executed him when they obtained possession of Rome in 87 BC. Throughout his political career, he continued to appear as a mediative defender or an accuser in Roman courts of law. Antonius' modern reputation for eloquence derives from the authority of Cicero, since none of his speeches survive. He is one of the chief speakers in Cicero's "De Oratore." In 100 BC, Marcus Antonius obtained a triumph, because he had fought successfully against the Cilician pirates. Some time later his daughter Antonia was kidnapped by pirates from his villa near Misenum and was only released after the payment of a large ransom. -- Wikiwand: Marcus Antonius (orator)

- LifeSketch: In Welsh tradition, the area which became Brycheiniog was once part of the Roman territory of Demetia, to which was appointed a Greek named Antonius the Black (Anwn Ddu in Welsh) by Magnus Maximus, Roman governor of Brittania (and subsequent Emperor — hence, named Macsen Wledig in Welsh). Some Welsh legends describe Antonius as Maximus' son, and name him the father of Saint Gwen, the triple-breasted (one of many saints he supposedly fathered). Following Antonius' death, the realm was divided between his sons, Tudwal receiving the eastern portions, and Edynfed the western (part of which became Dyfed) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brycheiniog -------------------- Anwn Ddu (Welsh rendering of Antonius the Black). According to Welsh legend, born in Greece, and later appointed to the rule of Demetia (Dyfed) by Magnus Maximus. Also known as Anwn Dynod (rendering Antonius Donatus). Realm included Gwent and Brycheiniog. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rulers_of_Wales ----------------------------------- About Anwn Ddu "the Black", King of Greece or Brycheiniog See Peter Bartrum, https://cadair.aber.ac.uk/dspace/bitstream/handle/2160/6516/TABLES%... - Birth: ABT 560, Wenteslande, Monmouthshire, Wales

- Also known as: Clemen ap Bledric of Dumnonia
- LifeSketch: When King Clemen of Dumnonia was born about 0555, in Monmouthshire, Wales, United Kingdom, his father, King Bledric ap Custennin , of Dumnonia, was 25 and his mother, Mrs Bledric ap Custennin, was -5. He had at least 2 sons. He died about 0630, in Devon, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 75. Clemen ruled following the death of his father, killed at Battle of Bangor-is-Coed. It is thought that Clemen was king when the Britons fought the Battle of Beandun (possibly Bindon near Axmouth in Devon[4]) in 614, when the Anglo Saxon Chronicle tells us King Cynegils and his son Cwichelm of Wessex invaded Dumnonia, possibly taking advantage of the death of his father.
